Australia is an amazing country however, it’s also home to 21 of the 25 most deadly snakes in the world. For this reason, we are extremely proud to be able to offer the most comprehensive and reliable snake avoidance training course in the country to keep your loved pet safe.

Our Snake Avoidance Training course is conducted over two days with two separate sessions involved to complete the entire course.

Part A of the course is designed to generalise your dog’s awareness to the visual aspect of the reptiles. This is particularly important so we are able to effectively teach your dog that that regardless of the size, colour, appearance of the snake- they are all dangerous and need to be avoided!

Part B of the course is equally if not more important. Part B is focussing on teaching you dog that the odour of a snake needs to be avoided regardless if you can see the snake or not. This is extremely important due to the nature of dogs’ being very inquisitive animals often investigating scents within bushes and being bitten as a result before they actually sight the snake.

Once Part A and Part B are completed your dog will understand that both the visual appearance and the odour of snakes need to be avoided and therefore, their lives are saved as a result.

I can highly recommend K9 Precision’s Canine Snake Avoidance training. Jake’s training technique is thorough, kind, safe and professional. My two dog’s picked it up quickly and had a really positive experience.
